Did you know that VOSA are no more? DVSA was formed on 2 April 2014 by the merger of the Driving Standards Agency and the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency. Their mission is to improve road safety in Great Britain by setting standards for driving and motorcycling, and making sure drivers, vehicle operators and MOT garages understand and follow roadworthiness standards.
Where this really matters for our customers is that the DVSA provide a range of licensing, testing, education and enforcement services which means that commercial vehicles needs to be DVSA compliant. And that’s where we come in – TRACE is completely compliant with DVSA requirements as set out in their Guide to Roadworthiness. They’re launching an updated Guide to Maintaining Roadworthiness at the CV Show this week so check them out if you’re there. We’ll put a new version on this blog as soon as it is available.
