With sub-asset control, the sub-asset has a complete record of its own and is allocated to a main asset. A sub-asset can be transferred to a new asset. TRACE holds history records for both the asset and sub-asset. Sometimes asset and sub-assets are referred to as parent and child. TRACE allows for parent, child and grandchild (sub-sub-asset). For local authorities and other organisations who provide vehicles for staff, we have a comprehensive module to manage lease calculations, including contributions where required.
